With years of experience working in fashion and an educational background in Visual and Critical Studies, Savanna began designing headpieces in 2016. Her love for fashion, the arts, material, color, and form collide to inform the collection.

Taking inspiration from the multi-cultural and ceremonial nature of the headdress, SAVANNA COLLECTION headpieces combine intricate handwork and an imaginative use of materials to create exotic, one-of-a-kind pieces. The collection offers a range of styles, from dynamic to lush – each a one of a kind statement that can be treasured for years to come.

Due to their complexity, each piece takes upwards of six hours to create. Feathers are selected for shape, size, and color, and individually shaped by hand before being curled and layered into the band. Though primarily focused on hand cut plumage, SAVANNA COLLECTION also offers a range of textile pieces. All textile materials are sourced from one of New York City’s oldest silk flower providers in the garment district. Quality is unparalleled and all silks are created by hand.
